Public evidence note
Brazil 2022: blind validation and later geographic comparison
The founders completed the 2022 Brazil targeting as a blind validation, with reference locations withheld until the ranking was complete. A later review compared the ranking with 15 deposits reported after the work.
Validation design and later review
Geography: Brazil. Ranking date: 2022. The initial targeting used a blind validation design, with reference locations withheld until the ranking was complete.
The original commercial engagement was performed for Aclara. A separate retrospective review evaluates the geographic relationship between the 2022 ranking and deposits reported later by other exploration companies.
What “within ranked zones” means
A later-reported deposit location falls within an area assigned a target priority in the 2022 ranking. Eleven of the 15 locations fall within ranked zones: eight in medium or high priority and three in low priority.
The remaining four locations fall outside ranked zones, completing the reported distribution.
Interpretation boundaries
- The initial exercise used a blind validation design. The later 15-deposit comparison is retrospective.
- The reported figures measure geographic overlap between deposit locations and ranked zones.
- The public evidence reports counts and area coverage. A baseline comparison and lift calculation would require a separate study.
- The deposit discoveries and public reporting belong to the relevant exploration companies.
- Exploration decisions require independent geological review and field validation.
Disclosure boundary
Official maps, coordinates, client data, targeting criteria, weights, and scoring logic remain confidential and are available only under appropriate confidentiality terms.
Public visuals present aggregate structure and counts. Official client deliverables remain confidential.
